Privacy Policy

Effective June 1, 2026

Who we are

Wash Launch Group ("WLG," "we," "our," or "us") operates washlaunchgroup.com and parts.washlaunchgroup.com (together, the "Sites"). We are a car wash development, acquisitions, operations consulting, and equipment distribution firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Contact us about this policy at anthony@washlaunchgroup.com.

What we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, request a quote, apply for wholesale access, or schedule a meeting with us, you provide your name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), and the content of your message. When you create an account on the parts catalog, you also provide a password.
  • Information collected automatically. Our analytics provider records aggregate, anonymized data about your visit (pages viewed, referring URL, country-level location, browser type). We do not use third-party cookies for advertising. We do not sell visitor data.
  • Calendly scheduling. If you book a meeting with us through Calendly, Calendly collects your name, email, and calendar selections under its own privacy policy.
  • Payment information. The parts site does not currently process online payments. If and when we enable online checkout, payment information will be collected and stored by Stripe, not by WLG. We will update this policy before that change goes live.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and requests for quotes or proposals.
  • Schedule, hold, and follow up on consultations and meetings.
  • Send transactional email related to quotes, orders, and wholesale applications.
  • Send occasional industry updates and content to customers and prospects who have opted in (we do not currently operate a marketing email program; if we add one, opt-out instructions will be in every message).
  • Improve the Sites and our services through aggregate analytics.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Who we share information with

We use the following third-party services ("subprocessors") to operate the Sites and respond to inquiries. Each handles information under its own privacy policy:

  • Google Firebase (hosting, database). Data is stored in US-region Google Cloud infrastructure.
  • Resend (transactional email delivery).
  • Calendly (meeting scheduling).
  • Plausible Analytics (privacy-respecting, cookie-less analytics).

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may disclose information to comply with a valid legal request, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a corporate transaction (such as a financing or acquisition), with appropriate confidentiality protections.

How long we keep information

We retain contact form submissions and quote requests as long as reasonably necessary to respond and follow up, typically not longer than two years from your last interaction with us, unless we have an active business relationship or a legal obligation to retain the information longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal information, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing. You can exercise these rights by emailing us at anthony@washlaunchgroup.com. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

Cookies and tracking

We use minimal first-party cookies necessary for the Sites to function (for example, to maintain your authenticated session on the parts catalog). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-less and does not track visitors across sites.

Children

The Sites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the date of the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on the Sites for at least 30 days before they take effect.
